Dryback or click, which luxury vinyl variant suits me best?

Almost all our floors are available in dryback and click versions. Both variants have advantages and disadvantages and the best choice depends. Read the differences below and choose, dryback or click?

Dryback

  • Have it laid by a professional.
  • The floor is thinner and can be laid directly on a levelled substrate.
  • The dryback variant conducts heat even better than the click variant by gluing directly to the subfloor, so it is the best solution for underfloor heating.
  • The planks can be laid in several directions.
    With the exception of 6810 and 8360, all herringbone floors are only available in the dryback variant.

Click

  • It is possible to lay your floor yourself.
  • Suitable for underfloor heating.
  • The floor can be easily removed and taken with you.
  • The planks have an integrated underlay and are sound-absorbing.
  • For maximum sound reduction (10dB standard), our Secura underlay is available.

Dryback luxury vinyl flooring

The dryback version is 2.5 mm thick and extremely suitable for underfloor heating. The floor is glued to a levelled substrate. The material (luxury vinyl flooring) and its thickness ensure good heat conduction. The floor heats up earlier and so does the room. This gives you optimum efficiency, allowing you to save a lot of energy.

 

Click luxury vinyl flooring

The click variant is easy to click together yourself. All our click variant floors have an integrated underlay and are therefore soundproof. The click connection is of absolute top quality. Within the click variant, we distinguish two production techniques:

  • SPC (stone plastic composite) or rigid core is used in our tile collection. This material is much stiffer and colder, something that matches the natural properties of real tiles.
  • EPC (Expanded Plastic Composite) is characterized by its warmth and resilience, with a robust core of SPC (Stone Plastic Composite).
    The click connection of a click floor is also very important. Our click floors feature a click joint from Välinge. This is of absolute top quality.

All our luxury vinyl flooring is high quality, whether you choose the dryback or click variant. They are also all:

  • Suitable for underfloor heating
  • With Bevelled edges on all four sides
  • With a 0.55 mm protective layer, so very excellent durability
