Eurofins’ Indoor Air Comfort Gold (IAC Gold) certificate shows that products contribute to healthy indoor environments in the home. It is the most ambitious low-emission label in Europe and certified products are among ‘best in class’.
Plasticisers are used in the production of our floors. These are substances that make plastics (in this case luxury vinyl flooring) flexible and easy to lay. A commonly used plasticiser in plastic products is phthalates. Phthalates released from plastic products have a harmful effect on health. This is why Vivafloors luxury vinyl flooring is phthalate-free. For making our floors flexible, we only use safe plasticisers, namely Dioctylterephthalate (DOTP for short). This organic plasticiser is non-toxic and also environmentally friendly!
A Vivafloors floor is 100% recyclable! This is because our floors are made from Virgin vinyl flooring; a pure variant that has not been contaminated with inferior qualities. This means that no recycled luxury vinyl flooring is used, whose raw materials are unknown. This can also affect the quality. Virgin vinyl flooring also ensures that our luxury vinyl flooring is more stable and less affected by temperature fluctuations. With proper separation, our floors can therefore be recycled indefinitely. And that is important to us.
To guarantee the quality of our products, Vivafloors sets high standards for all suppliers. In addition to ISO 9001 (quality management standard), our factories also have ISO 14001 (environmental management standard). With the ISO standards, based on international guidelines, we provide continuous focus on quality management and environmental management.
